Day 1 — Jesus Involves People Matthew 14:13–21
📖 Scripture: Matthew 14:13–21
In the feeding of the five thousand, Jesus doesn’t work alone. Jesus receives what people bring, blesses it, and gives it back for them to share. Collaboration in God’s mission means everyone participates — and no offering is insignificant when placed in Jesus’ hands.
- Where might Jesus be inviting you to be part of the miracle instead of waiting on the sidelines?
- What “five loaves and two fish” can you bring this week?
Practice: Ask one person to join you in a simple act of care today (visit, meal, phone call, prayer).
Day 2 — “We see scarcity. God brings abundance.” Ephesians 3:20–21
📖 Scripture: Ephesians 3:20–21
Collaboration is fueled by trust in God’s abundance. God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine; that truth frees communities from anxiety and opens creative generosity. Abundance-thinking builds teams that risk, share, and celebrate together.
- Where have you seen God exceed expectations when people worked together?
- What decision in front of you needs an abundance mindset instead of scarcity?
Practice: Name one resource (time, skill, relationship) you can place in God’s hands to bless others.
Day 3 — Every Gift Matters 1 Corinthians 12:4–7
📖 Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:4–7
The Spirit gives diverse gifts for the common good. Collaboration honors differences, assigns meaningful roles, and makes space for quieter gifts. When each member offers what God has given, the whole body is strengthened.
- Which gift has God placed in you for the good of others?
- Who around you needs encouragement to share a gift the group may be overlooking?
Practice: Encourage one person by naming a gift you see in them and inviting them to use it this week.
Day 4 — “What we have is always insufficient. What God has is always more than sufficient.” Exodus 18:17–23
📖 Scripture: Exodus 18:17–23
We love to think we can do it ourselves. We love to celebrate our supposed self-sufficiency. But the beauty of the Gospel is it's honesty that none of us can do it alone. We need Jesus. We need one another. When we let go and place our trust in God, amazing things begin to happen.
- What are you carrying alone that could be shared with others?
- What are you trying to do by your own strength that Jesus is inviting you to place in his hands?
Practice: Delegate one meaningful task and support the person you entrust with it.
Day 5 — “Jesus says put it in my hands, and watch this.” 2 Corinthians 9:6–8
📖 Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6–8
Collaboration is a rhythm: we offer what we have, God blesses it, and the community shares in the multiplication. This is how congregations grow in generosity, joy, and impact over time.
- What offering (time, treasure, or talent) is God inviting you to place into the mission this season?
- How can your group practice a shared act of generosity together?
Practice: Plan one collaborative generosity action (e.g., prepare meals, support a ministry partner, or fund a specific need) and do it this week!
