FAITH THAT ENDURES THE FIRE Week 1 — Daniel 3:16–18 BIG IDEA Faith is not when life is easy. Faith is in the fire. SCRIPTURE Daniel 3:16–18 “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But even if He does not, we will not bow.” MESSAGE SUMMARY Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow when the world demanded compromise. He promises to walk with us through it. THREE MARKS OF ENDURING FAITH Faith Trusts God’s Power “Our God is able.” Faith begins with who God is, not what He will do. Faith Submits to God’s Will “But even if He does not…” True faith trusts God even when the answer is not what we hoped for. Faith Stands Firm in Obedience “We will not bow.” Faith chooses conviction over compromise, even when standing is costly. KEY TRUTH Faith is not a feeling. Faith is faithfulness under pressure. CONCLUSION Jesus did not meet them outside the fire. He met them in it. You may walk into the fire bound, but you will walk out free. PERSONAL RESPONSE Where is God calling you to trust, surrender, or stand firm today? FAITH DECLARATION My God is able. Even if He does not, I will trust Him. I will not bow.
