Today: WE ARE KZ NAZ - “DEPLOY” – THREE MAIN DEPLOYMENTS: 1.) SERVANTHOOD = Assisting and caring for others Matthew 25:35 & 40 NIV “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” – Jesus makes it clear that this is our to serve others Matthew 25:40 NIV “The greatest among you will be your servant.” 2.) EVANGELISM = Teaching and leading others to Jesus Romans 10:14-15 NIV “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?” – We are not sent to save the world… We are sent to tell others our II Corinthians 5:20 NIV “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us…” 3.) DISCIPLESHIP = Training and mentoring others Colossians 1:28 NIV “He [Christ] is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” – Our goal is not just converts; our goal is What does this mean for US? How am I representing Jesus Christ to those around me? Am I able to share my testimony with someone? How am I being discipled and who am I discipling?
