REFLECTION QUESTIONS How is God inviting you to shift your focus this week? Are there habits of media that are not good for your heart that God is inviting you to change? What is one thing you can do this week to help someone set down anxiety and experience joy and love? Your own Notes: KEY BIBLE VERSES: But seek first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33 Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. – Philippians 4:8 Be still, and know that I am God. – Psalm 46:10a Acts 16:16-34 - The Story of Paul and Silas in prison in Philippi, singing hymns and ministering to the jailor. GOING DEEPER News Sources: When it comes to news consumption, it is impossible for a source to be 100% free of bias. However, there are some whose core mission is to present as balanced information as possible, with integrity and fairness. There are some whose mission is to deepen understanding, rather than convince us on how we should think and feel. Two promising smaller, independent sources I have found healthy and helpful are Tangle and News Not Noise. For positive, uplifting stories, check out Good News Network.
